Cranes are taking turns lifting gigantic rocks. Virtual reality headsets are transporting people to worksites around the world. Concrete trucks are spinning on the show room floor. Screens and signs are filled with fun, dynamic graphics. Business cards are exchanged for chances to win smart-tablets and gift-cards. On March 7-11, the Equipment Trader team attended the biggest CONEXPO-CON/AGG expo ever. With approximately 3,000 exhibitors gathering to showcase the newest innovations in construction equipment, technology, products, and services, their booths and presentations stretched a record 2.8 million square feet. First introduced in 1975, this 41-year-old trade show boasts more than 55,000 registered industry professionals, houses more than 1,400 exhibits and stretches more than 675,000 square feet of exhibit space.
